Start and End the Video Call for an Encounter as a Provider

Please see Create an Encounter with Patient Using My Kura Provider Portal, to begin the encounter process. If you need help logging in to your portal, please see Log In and Log Out of the Kura Portal

1. Start the Video Call

Tips & Hints! You will be redirected to a different page. This button will appear after the encounter is accepted.

1.1. Launch the Zoom Application

Tips & Hints! If you don't have the Zoom program installed, refer to Download/Install Zoom for my Kura Portal on my Windows/PC systems. Otherwise follow the prompts that will guide you in installing the software.

2. Send Invites to the Patient and Provider vis Email or SMS Text

Tips & Hints! You must start the video call first before you can send any invitation to join. Use the Override box to manually enter a cell phone number or email address. Check the Do Not Require Username/Password box to allow the user to join the video call without requiring them to log in to their account, make note that this option only works for sending SMS text. After you click the SEND EMAIL or SEND SMS buttons, a modal will pop up letting you know that the invites were sent.

3. End the Video Call

Tips & Hints! If you do not manually end the encounter video, the video will automatically close when the encounter is ended.
