Invite the Provider to a Video Conference as a Medical Coordinator

Please see Create an Encounter with a Provider Using My Kura Coordinator Portal to begin the encounter process. If you need help logging in to your portal, please see Log In and Log Out of the Kura Portal

1. Start the Video Call

Tips & Hints! You will be redirected to a different page. This button will appear after the encounter is accepted.

1.1 Launch the Zoom Application

Tips & Hints! If you don't have the Zoom program installed, refer to Download & Install Zoom for My Desktop/Laptop or Smart Phone. Otherwise follow the prompts that will guide you in installing the software.

2. Send Invites to the Provider via Email or SMS Text

Tips & Hints! You must start the video call first before you can send any invitation to join.

  1. If the patient  is calling on a computer, check the Provider checkboxes in the Email Join URLS section.
  2. Use the Override box to manually enter a cell phone number or email address.
  3. After you click on the SEND EMAIL button and a modal will pop up letting you that the invites were sent.
  4. If the patient is calling on a phone, check the Provider checkboxes in the Sms Join URLS section.
  5. Use the Override box to manually enter a cell phone number or email address.
  6. After you click on the SEND SMS button and a modal will pop up letting you that the invites were sent.

***Check the Do Not Require Username/Password box to allow the user to join the video call without requiring them to log in to their account, make note that this option only works for sending SMS text***

3. End the Video Call

Tips  Hints! If you do not manually end the encounter video, the video will automatically close when the encounter is ended.
